6 Father’s Day Activities to Make His Day Special
This Father’s Day, treat Dad to some quality time.

Although Father’s Day is only weeks away (Sunday 19 June), it’s time to start planning some fun-filled activities for his special day. Whether you’re spending a couple of hours or an entire day with dad or the whole family, there are lots of fun activities that you can do to spend quality time together and create new memories with dad. And who knows, this may become a tradition that you can enjoy together every year on Father’s Day.

Here are our top 6 recommendations for things to do for Father’s Day:

Golf Day

Scotland is home to some of the best golf courses in the world including the St. Andrew’s Old Course, Royal Dornoch and Carnoustie Golf Links, and if Dad loves to golf, there’s no better gift than getting some tee time at his favourite golf course.

Games Night

Organise a good old family games night with games that the whole family can enjoy. Need any ideas for games to play? How about classic games like Monopoly, Uno, Jenga, Charades and Scrabble. And, if dad loves trivia, why not host a family trivia night. Start off with his favourite game and enjoy your games night. Sometimes, the simple things in life are often the best.

Movie Night

Is Dad a film buff? Plan a movie marathon with all of Dad’s favourite films. Whether you’re streaming, renting or buying DVDs, plan ahead so that everything is ready for movie night.

Don’t forget your popcorn and other movie snacks. And, if you want to make your movie snacks extra indulgent, get some Ochil Fudge treats. Our Scottish Tablet, Chocolate Lovers Fudge Gift Box, and Dessert Fudge Gift Box are the perfect indulgence for movie night.

Or, visit our online shop and browse the full collection and see what flavours will delight Dad’s (or your) tastebuds.

Have a BBQ Party

Fire up the grill this Father’s Day! Dads love a good BBQ and what better way to celebrate his special day than with his very BBQ garden party. Give dad a break from grilling duty and do all the cooking and serve him a feast that’s fit for a king. Fingers crossed that the sun will be out for your Father’s Day BBQ party.
